Steve Young Resetable Lever Locks
This tape shows how to make service these locks after someone has tried to reset and fail.
Tools needed: Changing tools Various (depending on Make & Manufacture).
Steve starts with an explanation of the Mosler Rapid-set Lock Setup guard key.

S&G 4340
Locks shows disassembly of the lock and explains procedure to reset a malfunction.
These locks are handed with the slot of the keyway pointing to the bolt of the lock.
All of the Levers for the Renter side are the same except 1 (Block Lever); it blocks the change hole, when not in the proper position to change the combination. The Guard side uses the Standard S&G Levers. The video shows how to change the combination on the lock with the setup key and the change key.

LeFebure 7700
This lock is non-handed and the slots both point to the bolt of the lock (both of the horns has 2 key-pull notches cut into them. These are to change the keys of the lock. The normal operation will not allow the key to turn into the change position). There is a fixture between the horns that is used to change the keys from the front or the back of the lock (change hub) it is also the pivot for the levers in both the Guard and the Renter side. The Video shows disassembly and resetting of the lock. All of the Renters Levers are identical and the Guard Levers are identical, BUT NOT interchangeable. The First lever on the stack is a BLOCK lever then the Guard lever then the renters lever alternating. The Video shows how to reset without a key and with an old key to a new change key.

Precision P-54 and S&G 4500
These locks are non-handed and the slots both point to the bolt of the lock (only the renters horn has 2 key-pull notches in it. This is to change the keys of the lock. The normal operation will not allow the key to turn into the change position). All of the levers are the same and are interchangeable. These locks use a resetable fence. You need a special torque wrench for these locks. The Video shows how to reset without a key and with an old key to a new change key. There is 3 variations to these locks double resetable, resetable renters, double fixed with the option to upgrade in the future (the bolt is designed to be fitted either way, having solid fences on the bolt) on the locks with fixed fences the levers are stamped and interchangeable to either Guard or Renter sides.

Diebold 175-70
These locks are handed and the slots both point to the bolt of the lock (only the renters horn has 2 key-pull notches in it. This is to change the keys of the lock. The normal operation will not allow the key to turn into the change position). All of the levers are the same and are interchangeable. However the levers do not rotate, they slide up vertically. These locks use a resetable fence. You need a special torque wrench for these locks. The Video shows how to reset without a key and with an old key to a new change key.

Mosler Rapid-set Locks
The slots on the noses are horizontal to the bolt one facing each way (one toward {renter} and one away {guard} from the bolt} These Locks are NOT handed. It was designed as a replacement for the Mosler 5700 series lock. It is designed to "rapid-set" the guard key 1 (one) time only. It is secured to the door with only 2 screws not 4 like the 5700 (identify what is on the door). It has a single fence, with opposing levers, pivoting around a single post. The Depth is stamped on the renter levers only. The levers are not interchangeable. The springs are pressed into the levers and staked. The bottom lever is a guard lever, the levers alternate guard – renter – guard – renter throughout the stack.
